Karpacz - the treasure of the Karkonosze is a picturesque town, located in the valley of the Łomnica River in the Lower Silesian Voivodship. The first mention of this charming place dates back to the fourteenth century. The beautiful scenery of the city's location and numerous attractions, including the oldest wooden church in Poland - the Wang Temple, attracts many tourists to this place. Both amateurs and veterans of mountain hiking have the opportunity to conquer numerous peaks - including the Queen of the Giant Mountains "Snow White", wrapped in a white coat of fog for most of the year. Seeing the meteorological observatory at its top, the chapel of St. Wawrzyniec and the building of the Czech Post Office facilitate the hostels on the trail, giving you the opportunity not only to relax but also to admire the beautiful landscapes. One of them is PTTK Samotnia, sunk in the fairytale Cauldron of Mały Staw. Karpacz's undoubted attractions include granite rock formations such as 'Sunflower' and 'Mnichy'. Their fancy shapes stimulate the imagination and provoke reflection, which is confirmed by numerous legends. Fairy-tale forests, peat carpets are crossed by trails, besieged by tourists during the day. However, when the moon rules the firmament, on the same paths you can meet carelessly walking numerous forest inhabitants. All this makes a visit to Karpacz an unforgettable experience.
