Soviet uranium mine active in Poland in the 1950s. The surroundings of Kletno have been penetrated since the Middle Ages in search of ores. Among others, raw materials for smelting iron, silver and copper were mined here. In one of the old adits in Kletno called Eng. On July 15, 1948, W. J. Kamysznikow from the Soviet geological services discovered uranium mineralization. In the same year, exploitation works began in Kletno. On September 21, 2002 an underground tourist route was officially opened in one of the post-uranium adits. The route leads through a small part of one of the highest levels of the mine, in which exploration was once carried out. Its inlet is located at an altitude of 773 m a.s.l. on the north-eastern side of the slope of Żmijowiec.
