Fairy Tale Garden in Międzygórze - an open-air museum with a collection of wooden sculptures depicting fairy-tale characters and places. A small garden, picturesquely situated on a steep slope of Lesieniec, at an altitude of 700 - 710 m above sea level, surrounded by spruce forest and mountain meadows. It was created in the 1920s. Izydor Kristien founded it in tribute to fairy tales, the enchanting surroundings, as well as the omnipotent Spirit of the Mountains. The numerous specimens of decorative garden and typically mountain plants collected here are the background for the trees made mainly of roots and branches, as well as the stones of original fairy-tale motifs, i.e. figurines, totems, houses, gazebos. Recently, more fairy-tale characters have been added, this time coming from contemporary Polish and foreign animated films. Visitors to the Garden of Fairy Tales can not only admire fairy-tale characters - Little Red Riding Hood, Matołek the Billy Goat, Baba Jaga, Jasia and Małgosia, Snow White with dwarfs, Orphan Marysia, the Wawel Dragon and many more - but also relax among trees, bushes and flowers. In 1994, the PTTK Branch began erecting a building next to the Garden of Tales for museum purposes, including Center of the History of Mountain Tourism of the Sudetes, intended to save from forgetting the souvenirs of the past of the Sudetes and enrich knowledge about the mountains. Currently, the building also houses a souvenir sale point and a fireplace room for tourist meetings.
