The highest peak (919 m a.s.l.) in the Stołowe Mountains, within the Stołowe Mountains National Park. It belongs to the Crown of Polish Mountains and is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Sudetes, with a landscape reserve and viewing terraces with a panorama of the Sudetes. Despite the low altitude, this peak is visible from afar as a trapezoidal rock block covered with coniferous forest. The sandstone surface of the summit is weathered and cracked, thanks to which it creates a variety of rock forms reminiscent of people and animals with their appearance Camel, Mammoth, Elephant, Kwok, Monkey, Dog, Turtle, Owl, Pradziada Armchair and deep gorges and corridors (Piekiełko, Devil's Kitchen) forming rock maze. An interesting fact are two rocks, the so-called wobbly: Princess Emilka's cradle and Heart of the Mountain Spirit, which, despite their considerable weight, can be moved with little effort. Inside the many corridors there is a peculiar microclimate, and in some places the snow persists until July. A winding trail consisting of 665 stairs leads to the top. From the north leads the trail from Pasterka to the pass between Szczeliniec. On the circular, one-way route about 5 km long, running through the Szczeliniec mountain, there is also the Swiss hostel, built in 1846 in Tyrolean style (then as Schweizerei). Admission to the reserve area including the peak parts of the mountain is payable during the tourist period. The circular trail begins and ends near a paid parking lot in Karłów. We invite you to play in Szczeliniec Wielki, Mały. It is a unique place, just like the whole Stolowe Mountains. You can forget about the worries of everyday life and chill out with the beauty of the "rock city". Here the atmosphere is always clean and like clear transparent water. Walls created for mountain climbing. International cycling routes, In winter you can go cross-country skiing. After a walk in the national park, family walks and forest horse rides. In Czermna, the Chapel of Skulls gives you shivers. Film attraction for small ones - The place where the stories from Narnia are filmed - Errant Rocks. Countless labyrinths of stone corridors cause consternation on more than one face. the time will be special.
