Zieleniec is the largest ski resort in the Kłodzko Valley (one of the largest in the Sudetes). Is the district of Duszniki Zdrój. It lies at an altitude of about 950 meters above sea level in the Orlické Mountains range. There is a specific microclimate there (the only one in Poland) - similar to the Alpine. Due to the special pressure system of air masses, the local microclimate forces the human body to increase the production of red blood cells, which in turn significantly improves the well-being of people even staying a few days in Zieleniec. The northern slopes of Zieleniec, excellent ski areas and a large amount of rainfall during the winter (1,300 mm per year, of which 40% falls from November to March) make the snow lie close to 150 days. Zieleniec offers 28 lifts. There are 10 illuminated slopes for those who like night skiing.
