The palace-type castle was built in the years 1615-1617 as a Renaissance building. In 1679 and 1710 it was expanded to a magnificent Baroque residence. The palace is surrounded by a park with remains of moats, defensive walls and sculptures. Pieszycki Palace was one of the most magnificent in Silesia. 3 thousand m² of usable space, 60 rooms and a beautiful park. In the 17th century it was called the Silesian Versailles. During World War II it housed a concentration camp for women. After the war, it was temporarily renovated. Still in the 1970s, it was used for summer camps and camps. Later it gradually deteriorated and was plundered. In December 2000, it was purchased by Alicja and Marjan Hajduk from Las Vegas. The castle complex, surrounded by a park from the 17th century, has the buildings of the former outer ward, which includes: a court, an outbuilding, a gate to the economic courtyard, defensive walls. The facilities that are open to the public show not only the beauty of architecture, but also stucco mastery from the early 17th century, which has been reconstructed for several years.
