Samotnia is one of the oldest hostels in Poland. It is famous for the cozy atmosphere of wooden interiors and home cooking. It's open all year. It is located in the Karkonosze National Park, so you can reach it only on foot. The hostel is located about halfway from Karpacz to Śnieżka. Samotnia is the property of PTTK. It offers 50 beds and full board. There are many weddings, meetings "after years", trainings and company events, as well as cultural and sports meetings. The hostel is an excellent starting point for hiking trips, not far from here to Śnieżka, to Czech shelters and the picturesque Wielki Staw.
