The ruins of a medieval castle built by Bolek I in the Czyżynka valley. The first mention of Cisy is from 1242. Probably even earlier there was a wooden defensive stronghold here. The castle surrounded by a moat over the steep slope of the Czyżynka Valley was a good defensive point. Mostly sandstone was used for its construction. The defensive wall, with the gate in the north-west curtain, was reinforced in the corners with slopes. Inside the wall there was a residential building. In the south-eastern corner there was a table with a diameter of about 10 m. The castle was surrounded by an external wall, behind it there was an outer ward secured by an additional wall of broken stone. The entrance to the castle was defended by the east gate, preceded by a neck and a bridge on the moat. During the Thirty Years War, in 1634, it was burned by the Swedes. The abandoned castle began to fall into ruin, the local peasants drew building material from it. In 1927 Walter Brehmer undertook conservation works. The gate and tower were reconstructed then. After World War II, scouts took care of the building, and in 1961 Tisza was again secured as a permanent ruin.
