A partial forest reserve located within the Książ Landscape Park. The purpose of protecting the reserve is to preserve the natural landscape of the gorges of Pełcznica and Szczawnik streams. The slopes of the valleys of both streams are steep, with numerous rocks. Steep slopes are overgrown with oak-hornbeam forest with small-leaved lime. In total, deciduous forests occupy here about 130 ha. You can see here such animals as: tree frog, smooth snake, eagle owl, fire salamander, white-flycatcher, as well as numerous ravens and woodpeckers.
