Otmuchowskie Lake is a dam and retention reservoir located in the western part of the city of Otmuchów. Near the reservoir, built on the Nysa Kłodzka river in 1928-1933, there is also a four-turbine hydro power plant. In addition to retention functions, Otmuchowskie Lake also plays an important tourist and recreational role. There are holiday centers and campsites around the reservoir.
