Tourist mountain chalet in the Sudetes in the Karkonosze range at an altitude of 1,400 m a.s.l. The hostel is located in the Karkonosze Mountains in the eastern part of Równia pod Śnieżką on the Przełęcz pod Śnieżką near the Czech-Polish border (this is the highest hostel in the Polish Sudetes). A fragment of the Norwegian tundra with a characteristic low three-centimeter heather has been preserved near the hostel. Peat bogs on Równia after Śnieżka, near the hostel, are among the greatest in Europe. Next to the hostel there was a tourist border crossing.
